Tip Tuesday #1101

It’s Tuesday and it’s time for another QA tip!

Every week, we share what we call, "Tip Tuesday." These are bits of best practices to help awesome clinicians even better in documenting. We came about calling them tips because they are not anything new but simple reminders of the simple things that tend to be overlooked. We hope you find our tips refreshing.

A Discharge Summary must be filled out even for a missed visit. The Discharge summary is not an assessment but rather a summary of the care during the episode, interventions, goals and whether they were achieved or not. A discharge summary is required for each of the skilled services the patient received.

You can find more QA tips by browsing through our Resources (“Know”) page. Easily share the tips using the convenient Share option below.
